WELLJET NOMINATED FOR STOCKHOLM INDUSTRY WATER AWARD

WellJet, the revolutionary new process for water well development and rehabilitation, has been nominated for the 2013 Stockholm Industry Water Award. The prestigious honor, bestowed annually by the Stockholm International Water Institute, “honors the business sector’s contribution to sustainable water management. it recognizes improved performance in production processes, new products, and management, as well as innovative approaches in water and wastewater process technologies which together help to improve the world water situation.”

The Award was established in 2000 by the Stockholm International Water Institute in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.

The Stockholm International Water Institute is a policy organization whose diverse Stockholm-based, internationally-oriented programs and activities contribute to finding sustainable solutions to the world’s escalating water crisis.

WellJet’s nomination cited its innovative technology, environmentally friendly process, ability to improve well efficiency, reduce costs and extend the life of vital water well infrastructure.

The Award winner will be announced at World Water Week, September 1-6, 2013. Past winners include PepsiCo, the Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority, and the Orange County Water District and the Orange County Sanitation District.
